Ground Plant Based Coffee

Ground is a innovative, inspired, vegan coffee bar at The Sup Hut, Swansea, South Wales. We specialise in the finest barista coffee, alongside homemade vegan cakes and savouries, including speciality wraps. Gluten free diets also catered for.

Ground Plant Based Coffee Bar opened Brynmill in Swansea in June 2021. The project is an exciting partnership between Helen Wilson of Great Green Kitchen and paddleboard expert, Matt Barker-Smith of The Sup Hut. The coffee bar is located within The Sup Hut, with an entrance out onto Francis Street, Brynmill. We serve the best barista coffee from Extract Coffee Roasters in Bristol, using plant-based milks as standard. We specialise in homemade vegan cakes, made by our team as well as healthy and handmade savoury options, including the famous Super Sup Wrap with vegan pastrami.

Our aim is produce delicious, affordable and nutritious food that is helping everyone to reduce their carbon footprint and increase their health, through diet. We are a plastic-free business and have made a commitment not to sell any drinks in plastic bottles.

We are mainly a takeaway, but do have six seats inside and tables outside in fine weather.
